Croatia’s minister of the interior, Davor Božinović, says the country accepted only a derisory 40 migrants under the EU’s relocation program last year.  He also spoke about toughening the country’s borders.

Božinović had an informal meeting with the EU Justice and Home Affairs Council in Bulgaria on Thursday. In that meeting, he said, “Every country has a sovereign right to protect its borders and to decide who to allow in its territory”. He added that integrated border management is “crucial for the normal functioning of the Schengen area”.

As a country with the longest external border, Croatia has opened a border police training centre, to toughen its borders. There are plans to set up similar centres throughout the country, Božinović said. Last year Croatia’s 40 migrants came from Turkey as part of the EU migration deal.

An increasing number of EU members now refuse to take (more) benefit-bandits in their countries. After the Visegrad Four nations, Austria and Bulgaria have also spoken out against the EU’s migrant relocation plans.

Brussels and Merkel’s Berlin find themselves being challenged by growing unrest in their own countries. At the same time, Europe’s race-renegade regimes are fearful of rebellious bloc nations, even small ones, and standing up to them.

EU President Claude Junker is appointed not elected. German Chancellor Angela Merkel holds her position as chancellor despite its illegality under international law. The question is no longer will the European Union collapse as when the disintegration will occur. If the EU does collapse the U.S. is on its own.
