Hundreds and then thousands of outraged Britons including Tommy Robinson supporters stormed Downing Street on Saturday to demand the release of the anti-Muslim invasion nationalist.
Tommy Robinson, 35, was arrested on suspicion of breaching the peace on Friday after he was seen filming outside a courthouse. The well-known anti-immigrant campaigner was arrested while he was recording a video feature on Muslim rape gangs being off the police radar. When on occasion a Muslim is arrested they are invariably given light sentences; few spend time in gaol.
Tommy Robinson was acting as a responsible citizen journalist — reporting live on camera from outside a Leeds courtroom where several Muslims were being tried for child rape when he was set upon by several police officers. In the space of the next few hours, a judge tried, convicted, and sentenced him to 13 months in jail, and also issued a gag order, demanding a total news blackout on the case in the British news media. Robinson was immediately taken to Hull Prison.
“I am trying to recall a legal case where someone was convicted of a ‘crime’ which cannot be reported on.” — Gerald Batten, UKIP member of the European Parliament.
“UKIP Peer Malcolm Lord Pearson has written to Home Secretary Sajid Javid today saying: if Tommy is murdered or injured in prison he and others will mount a private prosecution against Mr Javid as an accessory, or for misconduct in public office.” — Gerald Batten.
Tommy Robinson was immediately sent to prison for 13-months for reporting the appalling state of affairs. A government D-NOTICE has been slammed on British media reporting the nature of the British nationalist’s arrest. A D-NOTICE is a government edict that bans all mention of a story. Even mainstream media can be massively fined for not obeying the notorious D-NOTE, which is usually limited to matters of great national security issues.
The sentencing has caused a furious backlash among his supporters and others campaigning for freedom of speech. Whitehall and Downing Street are under siege; a British Army helicopter carrying the SAS is hovering in the vicinity. Clearly, the British regime is prepared to use extreme violence against protestors for freedom.
Outraged protestors, including many who are opposed to the patriot’s views, rallied to the Free Tommy Robinson campaign, The Westminster regime has been warned that they will be brought to the courts if a hair on the head of Tommy Robinson is harmed.
Demonstrators wave ‘#FreeTommy’ and ‘Free the truth teller’ placards as others branded St George’s flags and banners with ‘Make Britain Great Again’ on them. Some managed to mount the gates surrounding the Prime Minister’s home, but the Metropolitan Police told the American-owned Daily Mail.
“Where is Tommy Robinson? A question whose answer should be demanded rather than merely asked…. Modern day Merry England has become far more nightmare than fairy tale, as it steadily works its way toward ugly police state status.” ~ Canada Free Press.
Tommy Robinson rose to prominence after founding the English Defence League in Luton, Bedfordshire in 2009. He resigned from the party in 2013 but has continued his anti-Islam invasion crusade ever since.
Traffic was stopped from entering Whitehall on Saturday afternoon as thousands chanted for his release. After supporters spoke through megaphones outside the No 10 gates, they marched down to Parliament Square.
Footage of Robinson’s arrest on Friday shows him saying ‘I’m being arrested for breach of the peace’, while filming the incident himself. He then says: ‘Can you get me a solicitor?’
Judge Geoffrey Marson QC sentenced Tommy Robinson to 13 months in prison and he immediately imposed a reporting ban. The same judge at an earlier trial quashed a conviction against a man for downloading indecent images of children in 2009.
Tommy, having initially been told he was being arrested for breach of the peace on Friday was convicted on the same afternoon and within an eyebrow-raising short space of time, of contempt of court for ‘prejudicing the outcome of the trial’.
That is utter nonsense. The men accused of child rape on Friday were attending court to be handed down their sentence. The trial was already over. Tommy was on public land. He did not enter the court and he reported directly to his Facebook live stream.
Conversely, there is a link posted relating to an on-going child sex abuse trial where BBC News have in fact prejudiced the outcome of a continuing trial by quoting a lawyer for the accused in the headline of their article, stating: ‘’Rotherham child sexual abuse claim ‘made up to boost EDL cause’ which wrongly and illegally implies that the defence counsel’s submission was a statement of fact.
